Workshop on Iliad 23 (U. Cyprus, Nov 25, 2017)

An interesting conference on the Iliad’s 23rd book, so much of which is concerned with sport. Perhaps of interest!

The Faculty of Letters of the University of Cyprus and the Drama Workshop of the University of Cyprus (THEPAK) are pleased to announce a Workshop on Iliad 23 at the University of Cyprus, Saturday November 25, 2017.

The workshop includes a reading of Iliad 23 in the Modern Greek translation of D.N. Maronitis by members of the THEPAK, archaeological comments by Vassos Karageorghis and interdisciplinary communications followed by discussion.
